Finally it’s here! I’m starting my blog, after promising to get moving on it for about a year. Now to begin I would like to discuss the two-fold objective for this blog: first and foremost to provide helpful tips, vendor reviews, DIY projects (that’s “Do-It-Yourself” for the wedding blog newbies), event re-caps, and discussions on anything else I find interesting or relevant to planning weddings and events. Secondly I wish to let you in on what it’s like to plan a wedding from the bride’s perspective; the happiness, the joy, the stress, the sleepless nights filled with wedding nightmares, and all the momentous decisions to be made. How might I give you this perspective? Because that’s right folks, I’m also a bride-to-be! In 367 days, I’ll be walking down the aisle to marry my best friend, and the most wonderful fiancé ever (I could be biased though). So I hope you’ll continue to check back here often and share in all of the fun and craziness that comes along with planning an almost-perfect wedding.
