Before we kick off this labor day weekend, I have another quick wedding planning tip!
I have many amazing couples that I work with and as the wedding nears I notice that they often begin to forget who the wedding is really for. They become so consumed with what their families and friends will think about their choice of food, music, decor, timing, you-name-it. Remember – the wedding is about YOU as a couple! While I always feel that couples should do their best to make their guests feel comfortable and enjoy themselves, no matter what choices you make, you can not possibly please everyone. So who care if your Uncle John prefers bands over DJ’s, or if cousin Jane is a vegan, or if Aunt Sally thinks bright colors at a wedding are tacky. Your wedding is a celebration of you both as a couple, so relax, stop worrying about pleasing everyone, and have fun!
