Nashville Wedding Recap – Lydia & Chris

There’s nothing like working with an organized bride, it absolutely makes my job so much easier! This gorgeous bride Lydia was exactly that. It was such a pleasure to work with her and her groom Chris on a chic summer wedding with a bright green, pink, and white color scheme and a clean and simple style. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Benton Chapel at Vanderbilt (where both the bride and groom attended school) and a reception followed at Aerial Nashville. Check out the photos from Image Trick Photography!

We had the opportunity to working with some great vendors on this wedding. The personal flowers, ceremony decor and flowers on the cake we created by Cary Allyn. A Dream Come True catered the event and the guests enjoyed a variety of passed appetizers, a bruschetta station, chef-maned mashed potato bar, and rosemary garlic roast beef carving station. The traditional white cake with cream cheese icing as well as the Vanderbilt themed groom’s cake were both made by The Bake Shoppe and Nashville Party Authority DJ kept the dance floor packed! Guests were able to relax and enjoy the evening at this cocktail style reception complete with comfy lounge seating (provided by Music City Tents & Events). We were hoping to not have to go the tent route but alas the weather called for a 30% chance of showers and while it only rained for about 5 minutes that day, it was better safe than sorry! Thanks so much to Deanna and the team over at Aerial for working so well with our team on putting the reception together. And congrats to Lydia & Chris!
