Nashville Wedding Recap – Ashley & Sam

This week we are featuring another lovely wedding recap from our Associate Ashley Klein!

I had the pleasure of coordinating the wedding of a great couple. Ashley and Sam’s wedding was held on May 7, 2011 with their ceremony located at Tulip Street United Methodist Church and the reception to follow at Union Station. Lane Photography was there the entire day to catch all the exciting moments from getting ready in the morning to hitting the bars (Yep..You heard right; the party didn’t stop at Union Station) after the reception concluded.

The color scheme for the bridal party was champagne colored dresses with white rose bouquets, and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white rose boutonnières. The bride had a bouquet made up of light pink peonies, white and hot pink roses and the groom had a hot pink rose boutonnière.

Along with the personal flowers for the bridal party, Belles and Buttercups also created amazing arrangements for the ceremony and reception that were made up of pink peonies with hot pink roses while the centerpieces at the reception were made up of white hydrangeas and roses.

The newlyweds entered the reception and immediately shared their first dance to Brad Paisley’s – You Have That Effect On Me. Darlene’s Kakes made the delicious vanilla wedding cake and for the chocolate lovers out there, they also had triple chocolate cakes that were purchased from Costco.

Once they finished their dance, the floor opened up for the guests to join in getting the reception going. As the party began to wind down later that night, Ashley and Sam enjoyed a last dance together before their grand exit from Union Station with lavender.

Typically after a grand exit, that’s where things conclude. Not in this instance however. Ashley, Sam and some of their bridal party headed out on the town, their first stop was The Stage on Broadway. Lane Photography was there
