Today I would like to share with you a truly remarkable couple. Becky and Michael are the perfect example of the mutual love and appreciation that is necessary in any relationship. The two of them dated long distance up until their wedding, making their wedding day so special and memorable for everyone involved. They were married in January of 2011 in a lovely winter wedding at Houston Station and I truly enjoyed stepping in as their wedding coordinator to help bring all the details together!
The Bake Shoppe provided this fun cake to symbolize the many journies they’ve taken to be with one another!
Both the ceremony and reception were held at Houston Station, a fun and urban venue. Mary Rosenbaum Photography did a wonderful job of capturing how the space easily converted from a the ceremony site to a relaxed reception.
The lovely bride and her bridesmaids carried dainty nosegays of pink garden roses and each of them had a glamorous fur cape for getting around in the frost. Flowers were provided by A Wedding to Remember.
The men wore polished grey suits that looked wonderful in their pictures, despite how cold they were while taking them!
The ceremony was absolutely lovely, with centerpieces and details focused on branches, lanterns, and pink rose petals. One touch we especially enjoyed was a table at the door filled with old family photos. Plus, I know all the guests appreciated Houston Station’s antique coffee bar on the chilly day!
To Becky and Mike, Congratulations. I so enjoyed being a part of this incredible and special day. I wish you only the best in the future!
