This amazingly sweet couple, Kristin and Kevin, were married on Saturday, October 22nd, 2012 at a private residence in Franklin, TN known as Villa Toscana. It was so much fun getting to work on aesthetics with Kristin (who is actually a photographer herself!) as she had so many great cost-saving ideas and a solid idea of exactly what she wanted for her wedding day. She was a true DIY bride and spent the year leading up to her wedding crafting away and I LOVED the details she was able to create! Here are some of the fabulous DIY touches for their special day, including funky birdcages and lace rimmed mason jars. We especially enjoyed the boutonnieres, made of lace and keys!
The private space of Villa Toscana, coupled with the intimate guest list of fifty, made for a touching evening with close friends and family.
This event took place on a beautiful night with the most wonderful crisp, autumn air. Fall flowers to match were provided by Brocade Designs. These included orange and sangria orchids, ivory garden roses, orange callas, and branch accents. Both the bride and her bridesmaids looked stunning carrying these blooms.
The ceremony was one of the most touching we’ve seen, but guests were all laughter and smiles as the couple exited to You Make My Dreams by Hall and Oates.
