News & Happenings – April 1st, 2011

Happy Friday! (and April Fools for those of you who are having a little too much fun with the pranks today). I wanted to share a few small bits of info this afternoon to kick off the new spring season!

Associate Planning Packages

For those that have been considering hiring one of our amazing Associates to coordinate your wedding, the package price will be increasing at the end of April so be sure to set up your initial consultation soon! Currently the Associate Month-Of Package begins at $700 but will be going up to $800 starting May 1st. Our Associates not only assist me on all of our weddings throughout the year but also have experience planning and coordinating weddings of their own as well so they are very capable planners and have much more experience than many other coordinators in the same price-range.

The Wedding Experience

If you are a bride & groom and haven’t signed up for the StudioWed Experience on April 10th, do so today! It’s going to be a fantastic learning experience for your wedding covering a range of topics. Whether you’re just starting to plan your wedding or already have a good amount done but are looking for some extra help and advice, this is the place to be! I’ll be there to speak on some fabulous topics in including first steps in planning your wedding and how to create a starting budget.

Upcoming Workshop for Beginning Wedding Planners

Are you looking to get started in the wedding planning industry or need some help in starting your own wedding planning business? If so, I’ve paired up with Mary Alice Sublett of ‘A Delightful Day Wedding & Event Planning’ to put together a fantastic workshop coming up in May so stay tuned for further details on how to sign up!

I hope you have a lovely weekend!
